This meeting is intended to mostly focus on Chatsworth Rd traders’ issues, but residents and other members of the local community are very welcome to attend.
Next Market Meeting
For those interested in the street market idea, we’ve got another meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 14th (time & venue still to be confirmed).
This meeting will be based around the Market Committee feeding back the results of the public consultation on a new weekly street market for Chatsworth Rd.
The consultation has gone extremely well with a terrific level of engagement from the community – almost 850 survey responses received in total. (If you still haven’t taken part in the debate, you only have until 11th June to complete the online survey.) The survey data will then be processed over the next few weeks before a presentation of the findings at the July 14th meeting.
We’ll be advertising full details of the meeting here, well in advance. Anyone who provided an email address at the previous market meeting on April 30th, at Chats Palace, or who has since expressed an interest in receiving more information about the market will receive a reminder closer to the time.
