Chatsworth Road market runs every Sunday from
11am to 4pm.

In its 1930s heyday Chatsworth market is reported to have had up to 200 stalls running 4‐5 days a week, extending along the full length of the high street. The number of stalls and market days decreased slowly in post‐war years, until the market eventually closed around 1990.

After many years of campaigning by local residents and traders, the market returned in 2010 and has been running weekly since June 2011.

The plan is to grow the number of stalls for this to become a regular Sunday market, providing more choice for local residents and bringing increased business to the traders on the street.

Hackney Council are responsible for all aspects of trader licencing and environmental health but CRTRA can provide you with more information on all aspects before you contact them. If you’d like to have a stall you can find out what you need to do here or visit our information stall at the market every Sunday.
