ChatsFest is Chatsworth Road’s very own festival; an annual street party that brings together the many communities of the neighbourhood’s historic high street for a day of music, dance, activities, food and fun. You can find out more about last year’s festival here.
The Traders’ and Residents’ Association (CRTRA) revived the festival in 2013 after a 34 year hiatus, bringing together the local community and showcasing all the street and its surroundings has to offer. ChatsFest is free to attend with all costs being covered by the businesses on the street who sponsor and support the event.
The 2016 festival is taking place on Sat 10 September. As per previous years we want to keep this free to attend for everyone. With reduced council funding and a plan for more activities, including a new community stage, we need to secure more funding to make it happen. To do this we’re crowdfunding whereby anyone who wants to support the festival can pledge towards making it bigger and better than before and ensuring it remains a free event. We’ve changed the funding platform we are using so we need you to donate again. Rest assured, you won’t be charged any money for your donations on the other website. You can find out more about why we switched here.
Thanks for your support!
